Transforming topiary investigates the idea of a landscaping structure as a platform for innovative retailing by enabling the topiary to transform.  The topiary appears in initial shape as a series of stacked cubes creating a living wall and canopy. It then slowly changes it shape by carefully rearranging the cubes allowing the topiary to break into several pieces. Some cubes come down to the floor to serve as stools. Some cubes are raised serving as lanterns as well as signage and or events boards. A pop-up café rolls in as well as a nap station while a lantern comes down from the canopy delineating a seating area thereby completing a compelling mix of retail programs.
